Thanks to a long family history of weaving, the Lenglart family has learned to master the
texture and spirit of beautiful furnishing fabrics.

André Lenglart, an interior designer, founded the LENGLART company in
Nantes, which specialized in the distribution of furnishing fabrics and the production of
curtains and drapes. He continued to develop his interior decorating business, and as
early as 1950, he was invited to redecorate the cabins of the ship LIBERTE. .

His son Alain Lenglart, with his experience of both sides of the business,
founded AMI.A.LENGLART. He expanded these activities, invested in new markets for fabrics
and curtains and implemented the latest techniques.
Through research and innovation,
Alain LENGLART fostered creativity while continuing to respect the values of a traditional
craft.
This exposure to new markets in such
prestigious areas as hotels, ships and theaters has given the company the opportunity to
participate in major projects with international interior designers from different
cultural backgrounds.
These cumulative experiences helped
him to win the contract for the fitting-out of the interiors of ships owned by Chantiers
de l'Atlantique.

The policy of research and innovation pursued by AMI.A.LENGLART allows the
company to accept all kinds of new challenges, without ever comprising the traditional
methods, reliability, precision and high standards on which it has built its reputation.

"A curtain is a moving sculpture that accompanies every moment of the
day. It filters, eclipses and protects - it is a flowing entity".
"We are a consistently
innovative team, and we endeavor to anticipate the requirements of our clients."
Focused firmly on the future,
AMI.A.LENGLART is committed to the advancement of decorating technology in order to
continue to enhance your surroundings through light sculpture.
